With my current PhD schedule, I have the flexibility of working whenever I want. So I like to take advantage of this and go out during the week whenever I can afford it. I went skiing on a Wednesday, with some hot sunny weather and leftover snow upwards of 1800m. There were some people skiing on the slopes of Valea Dorului, but just me and two Germans touring around. Left a little early when mean looking clouds appeared, along with strong wind and a little rain/snow.

Later on during the month, the weather got appropriate for some biking. My Monday was free so I went to stretch my legs a little. I decided to stick to the roads and chose a route with lots of climbing, starting from Mizil. Despite my planning, I still ended up doing a section off road – hard to tell if something marked as a road on GMaps is paved or not.
