You might think the title is ironic – you’re partly right, in fact it is double-ironic.. which kinda makes it true. Since I have some packing (and some other preparations) to do for tomorrow’s flight to Taiwan, I’m just gonna lay out the pictures, with talking kept to a minimum.
Last week I’ve been in a small roadtrip with the parents and the sister. Finally saw Prejmer Church, beautifully preserved and worth the trip. Next summer, I must see the rest of the fortified churches.
After that came Rasnov Citadel, where it seems the army are building new walls, in case we have a war and need a stronghold. In another picture, you can see the workers destroying the centuries-old fortifications, they’re not strong enough, considering today’s cannons.
Close to Rasnov was the newly-opened Forgot-it’s-name Cave. It’s bigger compared to Dambovicioara Cave (from 2 weeks ago), but still kinda uninteresting. Again, we stayed in Zarnesti (Irina is such a lovely host – if you go there, just say Andrei’s parents sent you 😀 )
After leaving my parents, I went with Andreea in a summer camp. It was kinda cool – until we started stretching the reasoning limits of the organizers there – but that story calls for a separate post (with a worthy title, for sure).
