We felt small and powerless when faced with Falcao’s awesomeness. And so did the players from Bilbao. Falcao was escaping them, cutting through their defense and scoring for the trophy. But let’s start with the beginning.
Which is the preparations Bucharest people made for their guests – here they are:
And, of course, Bucharest people had to make some small blunder. They thought of changing subway station names to those of great football players. So the station where Athletic Bilbao fans arrive got the name of Falcao (A. Madrid star), while the station for A. Madrid fans got the name Llorente (A. Bilbao star).
What can I say about the actual match? Not a lot, it was boring compared to watching the fans. The fans from Bilbao were the most energetic before the match start, but they got silent after just 7 minutes. Falcao was too awesome and Bilbao players too sleepy.
To make the final complete, we had not one, but two fans running on the field during the game:
In the end, A. Madrid players got the trophy (you can see them in the first picture, if you have a good imagination). Too bad for the Bilbao fans, they deserved a better game played by their team.
We then headed, in a silent sea of Bilbao shirt, to take the subway from Falcao station.
