We had a special guest at Twitter last Friday. The whole company gathered in the commons. After a short guitar warmup, a guy in a space suit jumped on stage. The suit and the mustache were not enough to disguise Adam Bain (VIP within Twitter). He was the one to introduce to the stage Commander Chris Hadfield.
Former commander on the International Space Station, Hadfield became popular after being active on Twitter, posting photos from space and reaching to millions of people. He talked to us about life on the ISS, about living in a place without gravity, about the experiments he ran and about his plans for the future. For example, something interesting I found out was that farts in zero gravity don’t have a propelling effect. Good to know.
