There’s no point in translating the title. Pacala’s Field? Anyways, this took place back in January. Started from Padina and climbed towards the plateau.

As we got above the treeline, we started feeling the intense wind. The gusts were so strong at times, they made climbing difficult. Ice pellets were scraping against my exposed face.

We stopped just below the plateau and switched to descent. Meanwhile, the clouds cleared a little and we glimpsed some sunshine. The descent was tough, with crusty snow and ice. I was skiing like a headless, falling all over the place. Fun times.
