I’ve had an awesome month! I’ve spend two weeks in Thailand, I’ve discovered a fascinating culture, I’ve marveled at incredible landscapes and I’ve tasted great food!
Here’s what I have in mind to share with you during the next days:
Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. With over 11 million inhabitants, it is not a place to venture in without a GPS. I will share articles about:
– The temples of Bangkok
– A jungle biking trip (in Bangkok!)
– The public transportation system of Bangkok
– Other stuff to do in Bangkok
Just one hour away from Bangkok lies the ancient city (and UNESCO World Heritage Site) of Ayutthaya.
We now move to Southern Thailand, more exactly to the island of Phuket and it’s most famous resort, Patong Beach.
I’ll then talk about two day trips from Patong, to Khao Lak and to Phang Nga.
With a ferry from Phuket you get to Phi Phi Islands, made famous in the movie “The Beach”.
I must dedicate a separate article to the Thai cuisine. For me, every meal was a new experience (and yes, I ate bugs).
