uberVU hackaton

Today, uberVU organized a hackaton (for non-tecky people, a hackaton is a place where people code for fun, with the purpose of building something in a small period of time, … so no, we didn’t hack any NASA servers).

We gathered at the uberVU HQ, where Liviu gave us some challenges, to get us started. I joined the improving-the-tagcloud team (but more info on that shortly, on my other blog).

At the end of the day, everybody showed what they managed to build. Since the tackled problems weren’t so trivial, we had more good ideas than code. After the presentations, we had some networking and some cachaça tasting.

I think everybody had to benefit from this event (I sure did – got a great t-shirt 😀 ). Looking forward for the next hackaton (somewhere in January, apparently).
