Last fall, I ran a half marathon (that’s me below, at the finish line). I barely trained – 2 runs of 5 and 11 km, in the week before. 4 days after the event, I still had issues walking and sitting down. Went karting on Tuesday, along with the other Twitter interns. Managed to forget my camera there. Recovered the camera today (while also enjoying the sun outside SF), then biked a little through the city, under the blanket of the fog. Oh, and got my bike seat and seat post stolen. Just another day in downtown San Francisco.
Saturday morning. San Francisco. Saturday noon. Monterey. Lovely town by the ocean, with a salty smell of seaweed and lots of beaches (but hard to find parking spaces). We rented some kayaks and went paddling around. Most exciting part was leaving or coming back to shore. We had to pay attention to the waves.
