This was a pretty and easy hike. Started in Azuga. Went up Sorica Ridge to the gondola lift station. Continued on Baiului Ridge, while being followed by a stray dog (are dogs omnipresent in Romania?). Returned to Busteni via Zamora Ridge, on a boring forest road.
Left Saturday morning from Busteni. The weather was clear, sunny, with pleasant temperatures. Made the first stop at Cabana Poiana Izvoarelor, to resupply on water.
