The story is short too. It was sometime in May, after a period of rains followed by  a short period of sunny weather. I had an urge for some mountain biking. After a few laps on the dry MoontimeBike course in Tineretului Park, I thought mud would not be an issue elsewhere.  Woke up early and headed for Campina.

But no. There was mud. Biking was not possible. Walking was not possible. Crawling was possible, but hardly. So after just 2 km of offroad, I returned to the train station and went back to Bucharest, also carrying an impressive load of mud.
